Kitty of the month

Moose is our cat of the month for this month.

He was found several months ago as a stray.

He seemed to be in need of a place to stay since hanging around in backyards was wearing a little thin.

He was reported to be friendly, but looked as if he needed some help.

He was definitely at risk since coyotes were observed in the area....We did have an opening to take him in and as luck would have it, he is now safe and has the possibility of a whole new life...He has a WONDERFUL personality and would make a great companion if you need a friend....

How to become a member

Your membership donation will help us continue to provide food and shelter for homeless animals.

An adult individual membership is $15.00 per year and a Junior Membership (12 years old and under) is just $5.00.

Paws with a Cause:

Giggles Comedy Night:

Our5th Annual Giggles Comedy Night will was held on April 6, 2008 at the Prince Restaurant's Giggles Comedy Club. We had a great time and want to say 'THANK YOU' to all who made it such a success...for more information click here.

Christmas Sing Along:

Our Christmas Sing Along took place last night - Dec. 20, 2007. The weather was nasty, but that did not stop the fun time. The people at Fritz's had a good time and were VERY generous to Melrose Humane Society's cause. They are champions indeed.
